The KYN61-40.5(Z) armored withdrawable AC metal-enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the switchgear) is an indoor integrated power distribution system designed for three-phase 50Hz AC and rated voltage 40.5kV. It is used in power plants, substations, and industrial facilities for electricity reception, distribution, control, protection, and monitoring, and is suitable for frequent operation scenarios. This switchgear complies with GB/T 11022-1999, GB 3906-1991, and DL 404-1997 standards.
The switchgear is designed according to the standards of GB3906-1991 and IEC298 for armored metal-enclosed switchgear. The entire unit consists of two main parts: the cabinet body and the withdrawable part (carriage). The cabinet structure is assembled, bolted together to form the overall shape. Metal partitions divide the interior into compartments for the circuit breaker, main busbar, cable, and relay/instrument rooms. The outer shell has a protection level of IP3X, while each compartment is protected to IP2X, ensuring that all metal structural components are reliably grounded. Additionally, each compartment in the main circuit system is equipped with an independent pressure relief vent.
The outer shell and partitions of the switchgear are made from cold-rolled steel plates, processed and bent using CNC machines, and then bolted together. This design ensures the uniformity of the structural dimensions of the assembled switchgear. The switchgear is divided into distinct sections—circuit breaker room, main busbar room, cable room, and relay/instrument room—each separated by grounded metal plates.
Carriages: Depending on their purpose, carriages can be divided into circuit breaker carriages, voltage transformer carriages, metering carriages, isolating carriages, etc. The external dimensions of each type of carriage are the same, and carriages of the same type are interchangeable. Each carriage has two positions: the test/isolation position and the operational position. Interlocking mechanisms are in place to prevent the carriage from being moved when it is in either of these positions.
