Describe Display

The GW5A-40.5 outdoor high-voltage disconnecting switch is designed for use in 52Hz AC high-voltage power systems. It comes with rated voltages of 35kV and 110kV, providing the capability to open and close lines under no-load conditions. It is also used to electrically isolate high-voltage busbars, circuit breakers, and other electrical equipment from live high-voltage lines. The switch is also suitable for switching small capacitive or inductive currents. With strong thermal stability and high peak withstand currents, the device performs well even in high altitudes, extreme temperatures, and harsh environmental conditions.

Features

Each pole of the disconnecting switch consists of two post insulators fixed on a common base at an included angle of 50°, forming a V-shaped configuration. The main components include: base assembly, post insulators, terminal block assembly, contact assembly, grounding blades, stationary grounding contacts, terminals, etc.

This disconnecting switch is available in three configurations: non-grounded, single-grounded, and double-grounded. A mechanical interlock is provided between the main shaft and grounding blades, with auxiliary switches included. The switch supports both manual and motorized operation modes.
