The LMZK-10 Split-Core Current Transformer is designed for Ring Main Unit (RMU) and Compact Gas-Insulated Switchgear (C-GIS) applications, featuring a high-quality epoxy resin poured into a flame-retardant PVC ring housing. It consists of two half-circle metal cores with secondary windings, providing a compact and lightweight solution that requires no maintenance. This split-core design allows the transformer to clamp tightly and uniformly around incoming or outgoing cables of high-voltage switchgear.
The product offers flexible configuration with single or double ratio options and two installation methods: plastic waistband or stainless steel waistband. It is compatible with cables ranging from 35 mm² to 500 mm² and rated for 12kV systems. The LMZK-10 supports rated secondary currents of 5A or 1A, withstands power frequency voltages of 3kV, operates at 50Hz or 60Hz, and is intended for indoor use following IEC 60044-1 and IEC 61869-1 & 2 standards.
