The 10KV European-style front connector is a high-voltage cable plug head designed for connecting switchgear outgoing line bushings and cable branch box wall bushings. This product connects single-phase or three-phase insulated cables to transformers, switchgear, branch boxes, and other equipment through a 630A prefabricated connector, providing a reliable and safe insulated circuit for power systems. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations, with a maximum system voltage of 15kV and a continuous rated current of 630A, with the ability to withstand 900A overload for up to 8 hours.
The tail of this plug head can be directly sealed with an insulating plug, or it can be expanded to connect to a back connector or surge arrester. When paired with the appropriate bushings or plugs, it provides fully shielded and fully sealed separable connections. This product can operate underwater and in other harsh environments for extended periods, making it particularly suitable for 15kV cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation, with a cable cross-section range of 35mm² to 40mm².
